While it is unknown whether or not Beyonce will release an album this year, it has been confirmed that she’ll in fact be performing as an actress later on this year, in the movie “Cadillac Records.” Beyonce will take on the role as famed blues singer Etta James in the 1950s-inspired movie, and will be joined by Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, and Cedric the Entertainer.
Filming is due to take place later this year in New Jersey and Mississippi. For more on Etta James, check out her Wikipedia!
