In Sydney this week to hype her third album, My December, Kelly Clarkson will perform the hit single Never Again on Australian Idol this Monday night.

It was a case of never again for Clarkson during her last trip Down Under when - on the advice of her management - the singer refused to appear on the talent show in a bid to shake off her American Idol tag and focus on “credibility.”

Having since won two Grammys and gone multi platinum, Clarkson is now all that and more. She’s clearly comfortable with her Idol background. As she ought to be.
