Sienna Miller kissed her female co-star, Tara Elders, in her new movie, “Interview.” The atmosphere was supposed to be sexually charged with the steamy on-screen lesbian relationship. The movie was about a celebrity being pursued by a columnist (Steve Buscemi) for an article. The lesbian relationship added to the complication of the plot.

Sienna revealed that she had secretly understudied a Hollywood celebrity to pick up tips for playing this lesbian role. She had refused to reveal the identity of her secret mentor. For her role in this movie, Sienna received a Critics’ Circle Film Awards nomination. This nomination meant that Sienna would be competing with a few other actresses for the best actress category. Other actress nominees included Keira Knightley (Atonement), Samantha Morton (Control), Julie Christie (Away From Her) and Helena Bonham Carter (Sweeney Todd).
